Digital Controller overview
The Genersys digital controller regulates the whole solar system through sensors in the panels and sensors in the places where heat is required. When there is heat in the panels and heat is required in a particular place, such as a hot water cylinder, the digital controller receives this information via the sensors. The digital controller is connected to a pump and turns on the pump to deliver heat where it is needed. When sufficient heat is delivered, the digital controller turns the pump off.
The DC12 handles one thermal circuit, such a providing hot water. The DC22 handles two thermal circuits, for example space heating and hot water or pool heating and hot water. The DC32 can handle three thermal circuits. This flexibility enables a single array of Genersys panels to be used for different applications.
The priority of different heat applications can be programmed into the D22 and DC32 controller by the installer, using the controller’s own internal software, which the installer can also use to fine tune the Genersys solar system to suit individual life styles and requirements. |
