ECO SKIES SOLAR THERMAL COURSE
The course objective is to enable the candidates to confidently propose, site survey, design and install domestic or small commercial solar hot water systems.
The course will cover the following areas:
- Regulations and Standards
- Collector types
- Solar heated storage types
- Solar primary system types
- Basic system design & integration
- Internal & external site surveys
- Installation Materials & Methods
- Filling & commissioning
- Servicing and fault finding
Certification: Logic Certification
Duration: 3 Days including Theory, Practical and Assessment.
Location: EcoSkies Renewable Energy Training Facility – Chesterfield / Derbyshire.
Price: £495 +VAT. The course price includes examination entry fees, a choice of meals from the lunch menu and refreshments throughout the day.
Entry Requirements: This course is designed for experienced heating or plumbing professionals. Candidates should hold G3 certificate in Unvented Hot Water Systems OR be taking the 1-day course the day prior to (or immediately following) this course. WRAS Water Regulations 1-day course is also recommended.
